Scene 1 (continuation… Allen, Allen’s Mom and Allen’s Mom new man!)

 

Allen’s Mom: oh my baby..what happened? All this years..you left me worrying about you all they long..

I thought something bàd happened to you..

Allen: I got to know 3 days ago..

Mom: tell me everything you did in Lagos…who did you stayed with and who gave you the disease..

 

Allen: I stayed Alone mom.. see mom I will tell you everything… Because I don’t see any reason for hiding anything again from you..

I got to Lagos and……. bla bla bla bla.( He explained everything to his mom)

 

Mom: Allen! You did all of this? Is that how you people live your life because you’re gày? 

And so all of this started under my nose I never knew… Mr Zachariah? Wow! So that was why he was being all nice to us then! But why didn’t you tell me all of this since the first day he mólestèd..you.

 

Allen: mom..no was still a kid then..and besides you’re always not at home..

Anyways the deal is done..we will have to go to the hospital tomorrow for check up and also register you.. get you your drugs and get full awareness about everything HIV entails…

Allen: I will start from secondary school again?

 

Mom: no.. we will register you for waec and neco examinations.. turn jamb.. from there you get into school..

 

Allen: hmmm… Can I cope with school at all..

 

Mom: u u just have to dear.. you’re just 24 now right?

 

Allen: yes Mom..

 

Mom: good..you still have time dear.. you can finish and still go for your nysc..

 

Allen: hmmm… Will I be able to do that with my status?

 

Mom: of course darling… Have the Virus doesn’t make you less.. it’s an opportunity for you to be stronger.. so don’t worry to much okay.. we just need to start getting you ready and always taking your drugs

 

Allen: okay mom

 

Mom: alright you can rest..

Scene 3( sholly, Moses at the mall)

 

Moses:guy what is it na.. I told you he hasn’t contacted me… 

 

Sholly: hmmm… But I feel like you’re lying to me…. Please if you know something please let me know.. don’t hide it from me please I beg you… please

 

Moses: hmmm… How can your own roommate not tell you were he was going..

 

Sholly: hmmm please just tell me where he’s please… I haven’t slept well for pass 3 days now… I’m worried about his health too.. I don’t want anything to happen to him

Moses: yes! He stayed one more night and left yesterday after raising his transport money…

Scene 9( Allen and Bobby on call)

 

Allen: Bobby I have been calling you for the past 3 days now but you refused answering my calls.. since that night you left my place.

 

Bobby: sorry guy…I have been busy with school and study. You know exam is fast approaching

 

Allen: hmmm Bobby don’t lie to me… You’re running away from me right?

 

Bobby: faked laughing

… No bro.. I’m not don’t worry bi will come check on you tomorrow

2 days after.. Bobby still didn’t call or check up on Allen and that got Allen more worried and Disturbed… 

 

That same day after Allen finished his lectures… And was about going home..then he met   Bobby on the way..

 

Allen: Bobby..he called him…

 

Bobby: oh Allen… howfer

I didn’t see you self

 

Allen: hmm can we talk please..

 

Bobby: yes sure..

 

Allen: not here.. maybe at your place or mine

After sometimes they got there..

 

Bobby: do you need anything let me Serve you…

 

Allen: no.. don’t worry..

So you stop communicating because I told you about my status?

Allen: since that day you stop calling or even meeting with me..

The fact that I’m living with this virus doesn’t mean I’m not human… And doesn’t deserve love or to be mingle with..
