FOUR YEARS LATER…
Everyone is afraid of dying; but of course, dying is not what we all fear. Isaac sighed deeply with his eyes closed as Daniel was holding his hands, he was deeply thinking about everything that happened previously. He opened his eyes after a while and faced Daniel. “I thought everything will be over after I avenge Jane’s death. I thought my life would be back to normal after I escaped from Mr. Emmanuel’s plan, little did I know that my normal is being with you.” He said as he sighed again and continued talking.
“All these changes that occurred in my life taught me a whole lot of lessons, but most importantly; I learned that love has no boundaries. When we take out the gender and roles, we will be able to view it from its original point of view. At this stage of my life, I am ready to live my whole life with you Dan. I am happy to say that I accept these changes and will cherish them forever.” Isaac said, staring at Daniel with a smile as they both held hands.
Daniel took a deep breath as he walked closer to Isaac and kissed his forehead. “I also thought that I wouldn’t be able to accept you not being the real Kelvin, not until these past few years, I realized that I wouldn’t want to lose you. I realized that I can’t bear living without you. Whether you are Kelvin or Isaac, whether you are having this face or another, I will always love you and will want to spend the rest of my life with you. Let’s live the best of our lives Isaac.” Daniel said, staring at Isaac with a smile.
It has been years since the entire incident that happened in Isaac’s life. He was standing before Jane’s and Kelvin’s grave as he paid them the usual visit. Isaac woke up early on a Saturday morning to do the normal weekend chores and also prepare breakfast for both of them. He also has his own needs and wants which are being overruled but he also never nags about it. Guess they are equal at that part. The sacrifice they make for each other is what strengthens their relationship all these years.
Dan slowly switched off the cooking gas as he walked towards Isaac who was sitting at the far end of the cabinet while eating apples. “The breakfast is ready babe, do you want to eat the food first or you want to eat this first.” He said with a wink as he pointed down to his waist. Isaac chuckled a little. “Didn’t you have enough last night Dan?” He asked, staring at him.
